I'm not really sure why I haven't posted this yet...I suppose time has just passed me by!  Last summer (July, to be exact), Mokah Art Gallery down in the Deep Ellum neighborhood of Dallas, exhibited my collection of work that I photographed at Vivero Boxing Gym in Oak Cliff. 
The gym is run by Gene Vivero and strives to keep local kids busy and engaged.  I can't say enough good things about it.

My friend and uber talented videographer, Jun Kang, made a movie to capture the gallery exhibition's reception.  I was so glad to see many of the boxers there...especially Juan Garcia.  My current personal project stars Juan, and I couldn't be more thrilled to tell his story.  Stay tuned for more to come on that!  For now...here's Jun's movie!

Feel the Love :: The Little Big Men of Vivero Boxing Gym
