Any time I get to witness the raw emotions come alive between the bride and groom in a quite moment alone, I am inspired.  I often tell my couples about doing a first look.  I explain that it is the perfect time to calm any nerves, to garner some reassurance, and of course, to look into each others' eyes and possibly get a few smooches in.

Kate + Seth didn't want to do a first look, but they DID want to hold hands before the ceremony.  With help of a groomsmen (bouncer) and my ever-present bossiness, I set out to strategically orchestrate this potentially tear-inducing encounter.

These two soulmates were set up with their backs around a corner and were allowed to reach for each others' hands.  Upon touch, the tears started rolling.  I was honored to be there to capture the sweetness!
