You remember the Dash man, right? This 2 and a half year old cutie and I go way back, and he just keeps getting better.
He's such a big boy, walkin' and talkin' and what not, that we had to take him for a big boy outing...the bookstore and a trip to Paciugo! Dash blew me away with his vocabulary and his affinity for both fruit and chocolate varieties of gelato. Ladies, he's a sophisticated toddler, so get in line!
His fantastic event planning mama, Sarah, threw him a first birthday, straight out of a magazine, in the most darling cowboy theme. There were cowboy hats, BBQ, denim and burlap, cactus juice, baby animals (Millie, aka future veterinarian, was in hog heaven), and even 'ritas for the 'rents. My favorite catering company, Kurant Events, did the catering, and it was so good that it has left me craving their potato salad for a solid week. Yum!
It was great to see lots of old friends and of course, Millie's new besties, Courtney and Amy of Caplan Miller Events and the rest of the CME girls.
To finish the party, we discovered our favorite get-along-little-doggie, Noopsy, gnawing on a chicken bone. I guess he like the fried chicken just as much as everyone else! (No worries, we rescued him before he got too attached to it.) What a fun shindig!

(05.23.10 @ 08:43 PM)For her 1 year old session, we hit up a coffee shop so Harper could have a taste of a blueberry muffin, ran around storefronts, and eventually stopped in at the local nursery to get our green on. Not only did Harper turn heads, but she showed off her speediness, her curiosity, and her charm.
I have loved working with Harper and her mommy, Crystalyn and daddy, Robin from the get-go. Though our baby plan year is up, I hope to stay in touch with these cool cats so I can hear all about Miss Harper's adventures!
