I cannot pull my eyes away from the gorgeousness that is Svetha's evening ensemble. It's mesmerizing!
LOVE this image! LOVE LOVE LOVE!
Saman Ansari of Studio Sila is one of the best hair and makeup artists in Austin and she was such a blast to hang with while Svetha was in the getting ready stages.
Did Kennedy Creative do a fantastic job or what?!
Here come the newlyweds!
Jith shows off his beautiful daughter.
When DJ Riz played "Jai Ho" from Slumdog Millionaire, the crowd went NUTS! I almost lost an eye! Not really, but I always wanted to say that.
Chase's friend, Jarret, breaks it DOWN.
Funny thing is, I went to high school with Jarret and his brother Brent, but none of us knew that until half way through the engagement session when Chase and I put 2 and 2 together. Love those dudes!
This kid was Jai Ho'd out.
Their last dance here, but one of the first for their lifetime together!
Stay tuned for their slideshow tomorrow!!!
Mom, Holly Viles, and I hustled over the the Driskill to be there at 7:15am on Svetha + Chase's wedding day. There was a lot to cover early in the morning since the ceremony started at 9am! Kennedy Creative had arranged for all of the details to be set, Svetha was getting her hair and makeup done, and then it was time to get dressed!

Sruthi, Svetha's sister, tears up and laughs all at the same time. Emotions were running high!

Svetha and her mom, Chitra, share a moment before things get rolling.

Love this of Svetha + Chase!
Love this, too!

The details were INSANE. I was in hog heaven times infinity!

Mom got this shot of Chase walking in with his brother.

Let the games begin!

I adore this moment. It's like both Svetha + Chase are thinking the exact same thing without even consulting one another. Their expressions and emotions are identical!

Don't you love the way they look at each other? I know I do. It gives me chills!

Quick costume change...

Proud parents.

Newlyweds!
I've loved this bus stop for years. What a trip it was to get to photograph a wedding party here!

One of my favorite bridesmaids images yet.

Stay tuned for part two on Monday!

(10.10.09 @ 09:43 AM)A big shout out goes to Mandap Creations in Houston for the event's insanely gorgeous decor. You can see more of their goods in the ceremony images. Also, coordinators Natalie and Sunnie of Kennedy Creative were fabulous to work with and you'll get to see more of their work tomorrow and the next day!!!

The details were beyond incredible. Sparkles were everywhere...just the way I like 'em!

Chitra, Svetha's mom, had such a gorgeous necklace. Jealous!

It's all about that bubble. Nigh Night!

Shoes are off; let the party begin!

Mom got these next two shots...LOVE them (and LOVE her!)

Break it down, sister!

Chase and Svetha look at her henna to find the hidden letters of Chase's name. How cool is Indian culture?! Love it.

Svetha's maid of honor, Ashley gets a henna design that is purported to protect the bride before and during her wedding. Find out tomorrow if it worked! ;-)

Don't forget to leave comments for Svetha + Chase! xoxo!

(10.08.09 @ 05:50 PM)Guillaume, her new hubby, is completely over the moon for her, and it shows.
They had a late summer white wedding on Kanon's family's ranch, and it was so much fun to witness and enjoy the blend of cultures and mutual love for celebrating. This Texan francophile was in hog heaven. The icing on the cake was when the French gentleman of a groom, Guillaume, poured ME a glass of champagne.
Oh, how I love this couple, their families, and crazy friends!
I am photographing them this Saturday morning for a baby session!!!
You were a delight to photograph, and I hope to see you again sometime in the near future! Much love!
