Welcome!
I'm so very ecstatic that you decided to join the party.  It is my life's passion to keep you entertained through my photographs of babies, my family, and pretty much anything that moves me, as well as my work as a branding expert.

Stick around and become part of the family.
Come early, come often, leave comments.

These days, in a sea of millions of bloggers, there aren't many who rise to the top.  So many of them have the same voice, the same ideas, the same posts!  In my Google Reader queue, I have around one hundred blogs.  I've got branding blogs, fashion blogs, photography blogs, and even celebrity gossip blogs...hey...don't judge.  Perez is my drug of choice.  So, you can imagine at this point that a blog better have a helluva a lot of je nai se quoi for me to click "SUBSCRIBE".

While perusing the fabulous stylist Emily Henderson's blog, I stumbled across a guest post by her sidekick, Orlando Soria.  His style of writing had me laughing out loud!  He's like the fashionable and hilarious gay best friend I've never had and always wanted!  Hop on over to Orlando's blog, Hommemaker, and see for yourself.  His accounts of house lust, flea market finds, men's fashion, travel, and even everyday life will dazzle you in no time!

When Melissa of Melissa + Ray asked me to photograph her for her new blog, Strong Sense of Style, I didn't even hesitate.  What a joy it was to photograph sweet Melissa in the streets of her beloved TriBeCa in Manhattan.  On our adventure, Melissa showed me her favorite street that was delightfully cobble-stoned (Beach Street), pulled a Marilyn Monroe, borrowed a dog and a waiter, took over a coffee shop, and finished up with a heart to heart talk about friendship.  Can you say "dream job"?

Hope to see you again in October (when we visit NYC again), Melissa!  Let's go grab some dark & stormies at Smith & Mills!

So, yeah.  Yesterday, when Millie had her friend Sammy over, they were standing in the front yard.  Mills was describing the landscaping using words like "texture" and "pop of lavender", and it hit me.  Her dreams of being a fashion designer might actually come true.  Either that, or she watches a hell of a lot of HGTV.  Hey...parents can only watch reruns of Phineas & Ferb for so long.  Cut me some slack!

One of our HGTV family favorites is Secrets from a Stylist, featuring designer Emily Henderson.  It was a joyful day when I discovered that Emily also has a blog!  I immediately added it to my Google Reader list and devour each new post like it's a piece of red velvet cake made by my mother-in-law.  Hop on over and give it a look-see!

Also, just so you know, I am SLAMMED.  There are so many fantastic sessions and weddings in the pipeline, and I know it would be helpful to those of you who are waiting patiently to see where you fall on the list.  Below are the things that I have photographed but am still working on.  Here ya go!

Chrissie + Dan :: Hitched
Girls' Night Out :: Millie, Alex, & Camryn
The Families Heilers + Potts
Millie's School's Spring Presentation Day
NYC Street Style
Melissa :: NYC Fashion Blogger Extraordinaire
Ava + Tatum :: Twin Baby Girls
Carson D. is a 6 Month Old!
Hudson is a 1 Year Old!
Dash :: Spring 2011
Kate + Seth :: Hitched
Walker is a 6 Month Old!
The Hepburn Family

So, you can see, that I am NOT sitting around lounging, eating bon bons, and taking all day spa-cations.  Rest assured that I am working my fingers to the bone processing all of these images...and they are delish.  Thanks for your patience!

So, as I am sure you all do, I subscribe to many different types of blogs.  I do keep up with several photography blogs, but also check in on fashion, real estate, art, psychology, celebrity gossip (don't judge), and humor.

One blog, in particular, keeps me laughing day after day.  As a human being, I adore eavesdropping.  Admit it.  You do, too.  I stumbled upon this blog called "Overheard in New York" and immediately became addicted.  People overhear things all over town and send them in to the blog with the convo and location and then they post the funniest ones.  Once I started clicking around on their blog, I discovered that they also have Overheard at the Office and Overheard at the Beach which are equally as funny.  I just love the NY one because, well, I'm obsessed with NY.

Here are a few of my favorite quotes.  Hop over there and check it out!

This blog is related shopping. New ideas, quality designs, sensible colors, and no-nonsense prices. I want to like the bag, but something is keeping me from liking it. Unfortunate because I own so many of his bags. This is really nice blog…

Need a dose of style like a shot to the arm?  Enter, Lauren Clay of Bohemia the Blog.  You might remember her from here and here and here.  She's got the best taste of anyone I know, and I know a LOT of people.  I mean, seriously...like 1/2 of Texas and then some.

Lauren's aesthetic is fresh, Euro-influenced, simultaneously ethereal and powerful without apologies, and definitely with a large helping of substance.  She appreciates a hearty sense of humor, getting the back-story, and catering to her inner 5 year old, and those are just some of the many reasons I am inspired by her!

Check out her blog for some eye candy! (CLICK HERE)

Don't forget to leave her some blog love = comments!
